Testimonials

“In the summer of last year, Luke was given this amazing opportunity to receive the benefits of the Pinder pool and Sarah’s outstanding approach. It quickly became Luke’s favourite day of the week as the therapy offered him hope, physical freedom from spasticity and pain, new goals, a sense of progress and Sarah’s constant encouragement and belief in him. The benefits for me are also huge - watching Luke improve weekly, seeing his body responding to the exercises and witnessing his whole demeanour change is so heart warming and motivating.”

“Thank you so much for your encouragement throughout our sessions together. Being in the water has been wonderful for my before and after recovery (Total Knee Replacement). I now have 122 degrees (flexion) and he (surgeon) was very pleased”.

Vickie Lush

“I recently underwent a partial knee replacement and my surgeon strongly recommended hydrotherapy. I felt confident with Sarah’s encouragement to go into the pool on day 3 after the operation. After each session I could feel the difference in my Knee. The warm water makes the exercises much more enjoyable and fun. Thank you to the friendly, helpful team.”

Beverley Thackrah

“Having been diagnosed with reactive arthritis in my shoulders and ankylosing spondylitis in my neck, my rheumatoid specialist recommended hydrotherapy as rehabilitation treatment. I found Sarah to be experienced, knowledgeable and highly professional and have just completed an extremely helpful course of treatment.”

The Pinder Hydrotherapy Pool is a state-of-the-art hydrotherapy pool which opened May 2021. The Pinder Trust provided funding to build the hydrotherapy pool within the new Winchester Sport and Leisure Park. The Pinder Trust had Sarah consult on the pool design and management set up, with the aim to provide a community use hydrotherapy pool beneficial for all to access.
